Why We Don't Sell Digital Images

When you were a kid, do you remember going through your family's picture albums? Do you remember pointing to a portrait on your grandparent's wall and asking them who it was? Then you would get a name and a long story to go with it. Once that story was over, you would ask about the next portrait. These were some of my favorite memories as a child.

When you take pictures at Christmas or any occasion, where do these pictures end up? On your phone, Facebook, Instagram, your computer, or maybe on a hard-drive? We have gotten so busy as a society that normally we put off printing our pictures. What happens when your phone breaks? What happens when you can't get into your cloud? What happens when there isn't any more Facebook or Instagram? Things can always happen, and we should think about it because that would be so devastating!

Have you ever gone to a professional photographer where they gave you your digital files? You were so excited about that big portrait that you had the perfect place for. You were so excited to give Grandma and the rest of the family pictures. Did you ever get that perfect spot filled or those pictures to the family? Most people end up getting so busy that years down the road the portraits are still on a file.

This is why at Misty Westebbe Photography we don't do digital files. We want to give you the full experience. Not only do we order you that big portrait to put in that perfect spot, but we also take it to your home and install it for you so that you don't have to worry about it.

Wait! What about sharing the pictures on our social media platforms? Don't worry! We give you the digitals of the portraits you order.
